Dedicated To Improving the Miniature Australian Shepherd Breed
International Champion Dusty Boots Shiraz

A striking red-bi, it's our belief that this 16" girl is one of the nicest examples of the Miniature Australian Shepherd breed around. She is blessed with wonderful alertness, an enthusiastic personality and an incredible presence. Razz's hips are OFA Good, elbows are OFA Normal, her eyes are CERF Normal and she is MDR 1 Mutant/Normal. She has proven to be a wonderful Mom-producing some outstanding progeny.  You can see many of her past puppies on our puppy page.

On February 17, 2009-Razz blessed us with her final litter.  Ten beautiful puppies.  You can watch them grow by checking out their web page.

Stormy is the daughter of our foundation bitch Razz and has become a wonderful ladyl.  She scored a 2nd and two 4th place finishes in the Bred-By Bitch class at the 2008 Mini-Aussie Nationals.

In April of 2008, Stormy scored big at IABCA show in Albany, Oregon winning Best of Breed, Winner's Bitch, Best of Winners and Bred By in addition to her National and International adult
Championships.

Stormy is just under 16", MDR Normal/Normal, CERF Normal, PRA/PRCD is normal/clear and her hips are in the 80th percentile according to Penn-Hip.

It was a long trip from Oregon to Oklahoma for the 2010 NAMASCUSA Nationals but Hunt made the trip worthwhile with another qualifying performance in the MVA (Most Versatile Aussie) Competition. Once again, he finished among the top 6 Mini Aussies in the United States.  He also sired another fantastic litter.  Pat Hastings scored all eight puppies above average show quality.  Pat has now graded  92% of Hunt's offspring as show quality!

In September 2008, he finished second in the nation as Most Versatile Aussie in the NAMASCUSA competition at the 2008 Mini Nationals-to learn more about the MVA adventure click here.  His championship conformation plus herding, agility and rally-O skills make him an ideal measure of the versatility of the Aussie breed.  Huntington's Penn Hip was above the 99th percentile!   CERF Clear PRA/PRCD is normal/clear and MDR 1 is Normal/Normal.

Thanks so much to McFinley Aussies sharing this once-in-a-lifetime dog with us.  He is the perfect guy to stand at the foundation of our breeding program.

International Champion Patchworks Blue Ribbon
CL1-R, CL1-F, CL1-H, CL1-S

Ribbon is a strikingly-marked little blue merle with the classic Patchworks look.  Her pedigree includes many of our favorite mini Aussies.  Ribbon is nearly 14 inches (on the small side like her mom-Patchworks Delilah) and is proving to be very biddable.  She has matured into a fantastic agility dog and she was the 2009 Novice Obedience Champion at the very competitive Deschutes County Fair here in Central Oregon.  In October '09, Ribbon earned her International Championship at the IABCA show in Ridgefield, Washington.  Ribbon is altered and enjoys a queen's life with our teenage son.
Casper is an easy-going, well-built puppy that we hope has a bright future.  He finished second among all Bred-By Males at the 2010 NAMASCUSA Nationals in Claremore, OK. He proved his quality by repeating as the #2 Bred-By-Male at the 2011 NAMASCUSA Nationals in Buellton, CA.  He's a regular worker around the farm and has a gentle but persuasive style with the ducks, chicken and sheep. Casper is above the 90th percentile in Penn Hip, CERF Clear, PRA/PRCD is normal/clear and his MDR 1 is Normal/Normal.

We've been waiting for "Sparrow" for years.  She's a third generation Dusty Boots progeny.  Her sire is our foundation stud, Huntington and her dam is Silver Storm (both shown below).  Sparrow won her Jr. International Championship at her first show in October 2009.  Despite her conservative black-bi coloring, her quality shined through with a Best of Winners ribbon plus being put up as Winners Bitch twice and Reserve Winners Bitch on two more occasions.  Her Penn Hip scores were phenomenal-better than the 90th percentile. Her CERF is normal, PRA/PRCD is normal/clear and her MDR 1 is Normal/Normal. Sparrow is enjoying her weekly agility lessons at Desert Sage Agility in Bend, OR.
"Drift" is the newest member of our family.  She is a striking red merle and a third-generation homegrown pup that has all of the components we are looking for: type, temperament, intelligence, herding instinct and superb conformation.  She is the first of our dogs to be trained in treibball (ball herding)-google it, it's a very fun dog sport.

So far all of Drift's test results are up to our high standards.  Her eyes are CERF Normal, she is MDR 1 Normal/Normal and her PRA/PRCD is normal/clear.

Drift's show career has begun with the 2011 Nationals in Buellton, California.  Against some of the top young ladies in our breed, Drift finished consistently in the Top 3.
